Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I couldn’t be happier with Blacktop Central. We did a replacement of a shared driveway amongst 5 families. Troy was awesome in his communication with all of us and works with us to solve unforeseen issues that needed to be addressed to have a solid foundation for the driveway. They were priced fairly and did beautiful work. I feel so fortunate that we chose them.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. After talking with 6 asphalt paving companies and getting 4 bids, I chose Blacktop Central because I knew they were using good quality materials, had an excellent rating in the area
and their staff answered all of my many questions . The price was very reasonable. All of the work was completed on the day it was scheduled. The workman were courteous and left the place immaculate.
I now have a beautiful driveway!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I am extremely pleased with how my driveway turned out! The estimator and scheduler were exceptional communicators. It can be tricky explaining the process to people who don’t understand the job but they did great breaking it down for me. Along with trying to coordinate around both my work schedule and their schedule AND the weather. There were a couple details I asked about fixing in addition to the original plan and the crew followed through. It looks a million times better! I feel confident of the quality since they have a 5 year warranty and understand there may be some changes over time so hope it will hold out! Thank you!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. From the moment I met with the estimator, followed by a meeting with the owner, I had a sense of dealing with expertise and professionalism. When the crew arrived, with their equipment and support vehicles, I knew that my decision to work with Blacktop Central, was one of my better decisions in 2025. Watching these professionals, working with their state of art equipment was a day of joy. I doubt that I could have found a better asphalt contractor in the Continental US. Troy a huge thank you to you and your crew for a job well done. Very much appreciated.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. As always, my biggest concern with working with businesses is if they will do what they say they’re going to do. This is exactly the case with this company. They were on time for both the initial appointment and the job itself. Their prep for the driveway was great and when they finished doing the driveway, they didn’t leave behind a bunch of garbage and asphalt pieces. Great communication great product, Great company would buy from again..

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Blacktop Central worked well with us on several unique aspects of our driveway project, including coming back to fill in and compact an area where an old tree stump was discovered during their initial excavation. Even though the blacktop installation had to be rescheduled a couple of times because of rain, they came out each time and added and compacted substrate to make sure the base was the best it could be for the asphalt. We are very pleased with how our blacktop project turned out.

About Us

At BlackTop Central, we built this company around one simple idea: treat every customer the way we’d want someone to treat our own family. We’re family-owned and operated, and that shows in every job we take on. Bigger contractors may have more trucks, but they can’t match the care and attention we bring to each project.

We’ve landed in a sweet spot where personal service meets real capability. We take on large jobs without losing sight of the small details that matter most to homeowners. Scheduling is a big part of how we do that. You pick the time, and we build the job around it.

We’re proud of every driveway we lay. Straight pricing, honest timelines, and a finished product that goes beyond what you expected are the standard we hold ourselves to every single time.

Areas We Serve

BlackTop Central paves driveways throughout the greater Twin Cities metro area. Our crews work across Washington County and the surrounding suburbs, bringing the same careful site prep and durable results to homeowners well beyond Newport. If you’re searching for a local paving crew that shows up on time and gets the details right, we’re ready to help wherever you are in the metro.
